Overview #

The Rule Behaviors tab contains settings that automate repetitive tasks when creating discount rules.

Auto-fill Category from Product Selection #

What It Does #

When you select products in a rule, this setting automatically fills the category field if all selected products share a common category.

Important Notes #

Category Field is Still Editable #

  • Auto-fill is a suggestion, not a lock
  • You can always change the category manually
  • Auto-fill only triggers when category field is empty
