Understanding the status badges in Group Management.
What is Status Info? #
The Status Info badge shows whether your group’s discounts are running or not. You’ll see it as a colored label next to each group.
The system checks:
- Your Start and End dates
- Today’s date
- Whether you paused the group
The 6 Status Types #
1. Active 🟢 #
What you see: Green badge
What it means: Your campaign is running right now!
When it shows:
- Today is between your Start and End dates
- You haven’t paused the group
Result: Customers see your discounts.
2. Manual Passive 🔴 #
What you see: Red badge
What it means: You paused the campaign yourself.
When it shows:
- Today is between your Start and End dates
- BUT you turned the toggle OFF
Result: Discounts are NOT applied, even though dates are valid.
3. Pending 🔵 #
What you see: Blue badge
What it means: Your campaign hasn’t started yet.
When it shows:
- Today is BEFORE your Start date
- Both dates are set correctly
Result: Wait until Start date arrives, then it becomes Active automatically.
4. Completed ⚫ #
What you see: Gray badge
What it means: Your campaign has ended.
When it shows:
- Today is AFTER your End date
Result: Discounts no longer apply. Campaign is finished.
5. Date Not Specified 🟡 #
What you see: Yellow badge
What it means: You need to set dates.
When it shows:
- Start date is empty, OR
- End date is empty, OR
- Both dates are empty
Fix: Set both Start and End dates.
6. Invalid Date 🟡 #
What you see: Yellow badge
What it means: Something’s wrong with the date format.
When it shows:
- Very rare, usually from importing broken data
Fix: Clear the dates and re-enter them.
Status Lifecycle #
A typical group goes through these stages:
